The 2025 Culturally Competent Audio Description Workshop begins this month! It is FREE and held on Zoom for four consecutive sessions on Mondays starting February 24th. Led by Blind AD Experts Thomas Reid of Reid My Mind Radio, and Cheryl Green. Open to experienced AND emerging Blind/Low-Vision Audio Describers. “Framing Accessibility,” All Access Calendar Webinar. Improve your accessibility and outreach with this tool created for and by Deaf, Blind, Disabled and Neurodiverse communities.

The ArtsBoston All Access Calendar is here! ArtsBoston and Think Outside the Vox co-hosted a virtual comprehensive tutorial of the accessible Calendar. Captioned and ASL interpreted webinar recordings to be posted on ArtsBoston’s website soon. VOX is partnering with The Huntington Theatre for its 2024-2025 season to provide quality AD/ASL performances and expand the pool of culturally competent and professional access providers by mentoring individuals and collaborating on onboarding procedures for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Blind and Low Vision professionals.

Save the Date: THE PROM



Think Outside the Vox is assisting Open Door Theater to once again bring Justice and Joy to the stage for this year’s production of THE PROM: School Edition. March 21-30. Tickets on sale now!

Both weekends will have ASL interpretation, open captions, assistive listening devices and sensory-friendly/relaxed formats. The second weekend (March 28-30) will be all Audio Described as well.
